WHAT THE ANNUAL FUND DOES
Your gift to Aldea ensures your friends and neighbors in the North Bay get the care they deserve regardless of ability to pay. Gifts also provide additional support where it is most needed including:
- When substance abuse in young people is addressed with early intervention and preventative education, it reduces the impact of alcohol and drug abuse on our youth, families, schools, and communities.
- When people who are experiencing the symptoms of early psychosis are able to access resources to reduce and manage their symptoms, they stabilize and find greater success in education, careers and relationships.
- A safe and loving home is not afforded to every child. Dealing with these traumas at a young and impressionable age can cause a lifetime of challenges - mental, physical, and behavioral. It's essential that children have advocates with the resources and support to meet their complex needs.
