On September 21, 2018 Aldea held it’s third annual Suicide Prevention and Awareness Conference held at the Meritage Resort in Napa, CA. 300 attendees listened to key note speaker Kevin Berthia share his story of hope after he was saved from jumping from the Golden Gate bridge. The conference this year was a full day of workshops for attendees to hear personal stories from families touched by suicide, gatekeeper training on QPR(question, persuade, refer) and many other topics including art therapy, meditation and learning how to speak to your teens about mental health.
